POSITIVE WHOLE NUMBER POWERS

Positive whole number powers is another way of saying positive exponents, which are the small numbers just above and to the right of a number. The power tells you the number of times to use that number in repeated multiplication. For example: 35 = 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 = 243 (not 3 x 5 = 15).
