RECIPROCALS

A reciprocal is when you flip a fraction upside down. The numerator becomes the denominator and vice-versa. This is used for dividing fractions. Instead of dividing, you multiply the reciprocal of the second number. Example: 2/3 divided by 1/2 is 2/3 times 2/1 = 4/3 or 1 1/3.
